What this website collects
Almost nothing. This site is intentionally minimal:
- No analytics tracking. I do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other behavioural tracking tools.
- No advertising cookies. I do not run ads and I do not allow third parties to track visitors.
- No social media trackers. Embedded content from third parties is avoided where possible.
- Strictly necessary cookies only. The only cookies set by this site are technical session cookies required for the underlying Ghost CMS to function. These do not identify you and are exempt from consent requirements under the ePrivacy Directive.
When you contact me
If you send me an email (via the contact links on this site or directly), I will process the personal data you choose to share with me — typically your name, email address, and the contents of your message.
I use this data only to:
- Respond to your enquiry
- Discuss potential work
- Send quotes, contracts, and invoices if we agree to work together
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR — performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps at your request.
Retention: I keep correspondence for as long as it is relevant to our (potential) working relationship. Business records (invoices, contracts) are retained for 7 years as required by Dutch tax law (Algemene wet inzake rijksbelastingen, Article 52). Other correspondence is deleted on request or when no longer relevant.
Hosting and infrastructure
This website is hosted on a server located in the European Economic Area. No personal data is transferred outside the EEA.

- Rectification of inaccurate data
- Erasure ("right to be forgotten")
- Restriction of processing
- Data portability
- Object to processing
To exercise any of these rights, email me at [email protected]. I will respond within 30 days.
You also have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) if you believe your rights have been violated. Their website is autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
